About this course

This course builds on foundational math skills and introduces intermediate-level concepts. It focuses on fractions, decimals, geometry, data handling, and basic algebraic thinking. The curriculum is designed to provide students with problem-solving strategies and the ability to apply mathematical concepts in their daily lives.

What you'll learn

  1. Place value and large numbers
  2. Fractions and decimals
  3. Multiplication, division and their word problems
  4. Shapes, symmetry and basic geometry
  5. Measurement: length, weight, time, money
  6. Data handling and simple patterns (early algebra)

By the end, you can

  • Add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions and decimals
  • Solve everyday money and measurement problems
  • Read simple tables and graphs

Who it's for

  • Students aged 9–13 years, equivalent to Class 4-5 level. Learners advancing from OBE A level or those seeking to strengthen intermediate math skills.

Live classes on weekday evenings, 1 hour each, plus short homework

Live on Google Meet with a NEIEA mentor teacher, using Discourse-Oriented Pedagogy
Progress checks
A starting-level test, monthly class tests, and a final test

NEIEA certificate of completion with 75% attendance and the final assessment
